Solidarity leadership protests in arrest of its activists
Kozhikode: Solidarity state leadership protested in the arrest of its activists, who led peaceful protest marches against land surveys for the NH development at Thottappally in Alapuzha. Government's approach to apply force upon those who protest against unjust activities is undemocratic and a challenge to public, said N K Abdul Salam, state secretary of the movement.Any forced attempt to suppress protests in Kerala will not find success. Decision to acquire 45 meter of land instead of 35 meter, which is found to be enough to build international standard six lane highways will displace thousands of families. Solidarity and people of Kerala will not allow this at any risk.
