Public Meeting and Documentary Screening

Idukki: Nedukandam unit of the Solidarity Youth Movement conducted a public meeting and documentary screening in Nedukandam on 12th November. 

The function, which debated on the topic, "Solidarity and Social Interventions" was inaugurated by K S Zubair, its Idukki District President. The meeting warned that the reported usage of Endosulfan in the High-Range regions will repeat another Kasargode calamity in Kerala. The meeting also demanded people be aware of the bureaucratic and political alliances, which bring nothing other than misery to humanity.

K A Ashraf and Zubair Hameed aslo spoke on the occasion. "Sparsham", a documentary launched on the completion of first phase of the rehabilitation project by the Solidarity Youth Movement in the Endosulfan-destroyed villages of Kasargode district has been screened in the function.
Nedukandam unit president of Solidarity, Abdul Raheem presided over the function. Shahul Hameed delivered the welcome speech while Basheer Kombayar offered vote of thanks.
