Solidarity launches an innovative farming initiative

Alapuzha: “A Farmland For Us; Solidarity with Farming”, an innovative farming campaign has been launched by the District Committee of Solidarity. The campaign to be held from Jan, 25 to Feb, 10 is purported to encourage people to do small size house farming initiatives. It is relevant campaign in a time like this where the consumer State of Kerala reels under irrepressible price rises for vegetables and fruits. As part of the campaign, different programmes like; honouring aged and best farmers; farming awareness classes; distribution of seeds and preparation of kitchen garden are planned in unit levels.As a conclusion to the campaign, District Committee will conduct a seminar, film and documentary screenings on farming in Chunnar.V A Abubacker, District President presided over the District Committee meeting held in the district office.
