Total implementation of Paloli committee is a must

Thiruvananthapuram: M. Sajid , General Secretary of the Solidarity Youth Movement demanded the state Government that all the suggestions Paloli committee formed for the implementation of Sachar Committee recommendations should be implemented in the state as soon as possible. He raised this demand when a delegation of the  Solidarity was meeting with the State Minister Paloli Mohammed  Kutty in this regard. He has learned that only a few of the suggestions are under way to be implemented. Major suggestions such as setting up of  minority welfare department, high power committee for compensating the reservation loss, educational issues related Malabar region, Arabic university, Waqf  development corporation, special projects for coastal and high range belt etc are yet to be got ready for implementations.The  delegation met State Ministers N.K. Premachandran, Kadannappally Ramachandran, LDF convener Vaikom Viswan, CPM Secretariat member EP. Jayarajan and CPI assistant  K.E. Ismail in this regard. The delegation comprised of State Secretary PI. Noushad, South zone Secretary K. Sajeed and Thiruvananthapuram District Vice President Sudheer.
